Lyons Named "Legislator of the Year"

La Grange . . . The Illinois Dental Hygienists’ Association (IDHA) has named State Representative Eileen Lyons (R-Western Springs) as their Legislator of the Year, for her "outstanding commitment to the interests of dental hygienists in Illinois."
"I am very honored to receive this award," said Lyons. "I have tried to represent the positions of dental hygienists and it is very heartening to have that work recognized."
The award will be presented at the IDHA’s Annual Mid-Winter Conference on February 25, 2000, held at the Chicago Marriott Hotel. The conference brings together about 400 registered dental hygienists from around the state. The two-day conference includes classes and social events for the dental hygienists that attend.
